Elm Terrace Gardens in Lansdale is seeking an Activity Aide to enhance residents' quality of life by planning and facilitating activities that promote social interaction, mental stimulation, and overall well-being. The role requires compassion, creativity, and teamwork to support diverse populations in a positive, fun environment.

The position is full-time with hours from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, and rotating weekends once a month.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in activity planning or senior care preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Creative, patient, and empathetic by nature.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and leading recreational activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities.
• Support residents in participating in activities, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Foster a friendly and inclusive atmosphere that encourages socialization and engagement.
• Maintain activity supplies and ensure the activity area is clean and organized.
• Document residents' participation and provide feedback to the activity coordinator.
• Collaborate with staff and family members to develop personalized activity plans.

Activity Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Activity Aide to join our team and enhance the quality of life for our residents. In this role, you will assist in planning and facilitating engaging activities that promote social interaction, mental stimulation, and overall well-being. If you enjoy having fun, being creative, working with diverse populations and creating a positive environment, we encourage you to apply.
