Job summary

AristaCare in Philadelphia is seeking an Activity Aide to assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual activity programs for residents.

Observe residents’ progress per assessments and care plans, and follow supervisor directions. Shifts available: Part-time, every other weekend, 8 AM–4 PM. We offer competitive rates, Healthcare benefits, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in recreation within a geriatric or healthcare setting.
• Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Memory Care is a plus.
• Ability to build positive relationships with residents and facility staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual activity programs.
• Observe residents’ progress per assessments and care plans, and follow directions from supervisors.
• Support the activity program by coordinating with the care team and scheduling activities.

Observe residents progress, in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.

Shifts Available: Part time, every other weekend 8AM-4PM
