Job summary

AristaCare Health Services is seeking an Activity Aide to assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational· social· intellectual· emotional and spiritual activity programs for residents. You will observe progress and align activities with assessments and care plans under supervision.

Shifts available are part-time, every other weekend from 8AM–4PM. Candidates with at least 1 year experience in recreation in a geriatric or healthcare setting are preferred; LTC or Memory Care

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in recreation within a geriatric or healthcare setting.
• Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Memory Care is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementation, and evaluation of activity programs across recreation, social and intellectual activities.
• Observe residents progress per assessment and care plan, as directed by supervisors.

Job description

The Activity Aide helps to assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual activity programs of the facility. Observe residents progress, in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.

Shifts Available: Part time, every other weekend 8AM-4PM

Responsibilities
