Job summary

AristaCare offers an Activity Aide role to support recreation programs for residents in a geriatric healthcare setting. You will assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating activities to boost social, cognitive, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Part-time shifts are available, including every other weekend 8AM-4PM. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of recreation experience in a geriatric or healthcare environment and a warm, energetic approach to building positive relationships

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in recreation within a geriatric or healthcare setting.
• Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Memory Care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating activity programs for residents.
• Observe residents progress according to assessment and care plan, as directed by supervisors.

Observe residents progress, in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.

Shifts Available: Part time, every other weekend 8AM-4PM
