Job summary

Complete Care is seeking an enthusiastic Activity Aide to bring joy, engagement, and companionship to our residents. In this role, you will plan and assist with recreational activities that promote socialization, creativity, and well-being, helping our community feel like home.

Schedule is part-time 4p-7p with varied Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, plus every-other-weekend requirement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience as Activity Aide or in long-term care, healthcare, recreation, or customer service preferred, but training available.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Creative, dependable, organized and able to work well as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Activities in coordinating and leading daily recreational, social, and therapeutic programs.
• Encourage resident participation and provide one-on-one support during activities as needed.
• Monitor resident engagement and communicate observations to the nursing team when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and activity documentation.
• Help decorate Complete Care for holidays, seasonal events, and special celebrations.
• Prepare activity materials and ensure spaces remain organized and inviting.
• Support community events and special programs that enhance the resident experience.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Director of Activities or Administrator.

Activity Aide Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.


• Previous experience as an Activity Aide or in a long-term care, healthcare, recreation, or customer service setting is preferred, but we are happy to train motivated candidates.
