Trevida Healthcare is seeking an Activity Aid to support residents with engaging programs and compassionate care. You will lead scheduled activities that inspire spiritual, cognitive, social, physical and creative expressions, helping residents stay engaged and happy.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Prior experience as activity assistant.
• Prior experience in Long-Term Care/Healthcare is preferred.

• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead scheduled activities programs that inspire spiritual, cognitive, social, physical and creative expressions.
• Assist with the organizing, planning and implementation of programs and opportunities that promote resident well-being.
• Enthusiastically promote and communicate programs and events to residents.
• Passionately motivate and serve residents of varying cognitive and physical abilities.
• Interact with families and visitors of our residents.
