Job summary

Arcadia Care in Dayton, OH is seeking an Activity Aide to assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs aligned with resident assessments and care plans.

You will support daily activity programs, prepare and clean activity spaces, and encourage resident engagement to promote well-being.

Qualifications

• Experience in Long Term Care Activities Department.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition & enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level at which they are currently functioning.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and charting for the daily activity programs & quality assurance for the Activities Department.
• Assist in preparing and cleaning up activity rooms/areas for scheduled activity programs.

Job Summary
