Job summary

Generations' Wheatland Village seeks an Activities/Vitality Coordinator to enhance residents' lives by delivering vitality programs and engaging staff in wellness activities. You will ensure alignment with the vitality standards and embody the Generations mission daily.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the team, delivering inclusive activities for older adults, and promoting a safe, engaging environment for residents and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in therapeutic recreation, health education or activity professional program preferred.
• Minimum 1-year related experience in activities and/or wellness with older adults. Must be able to read, write and follow written and oral direction.
• Current CPR certification, or to be completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement vitality programs to enrich mind, body and spirit for residents.
• Promote Generations' vitality philosophy to staff and residents and ensure program standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to support resident engagement and wellbeing.

The Activities/Vitality Coordinator at Wheatland Village enhances the lives of our residents and staff through creating opportunities that enrich mind, body, and spirit. Responsible for meeting all Generations Vitality program standards. Communicates the Vitality philosophy and the benefits of participating to staff and residents both verbally and by example. Incorporates Generations' Mission, Vision, and Values into daily work and interactions with others.

Schedule

• Full-time, Mondays through Fridays, 9:00 am - 4:30 pm
• Occassional weekend or evening shifts, due to special events
• 8 hours a day

Requirements
