Job summary

The Wexford in Loveland, CO is seeking an Activities/Vitality Coordinator to enrich residents' lives by creating opportunities that boost mind, body, and spirit. You will meet Generations Vitality program standards and communicate its benefits to staff and residents by example, while integrating the Mission, Vision, and Values into daily work.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in therapeutic recreation, health education or activity professional program preferred.
• Minimum 1-year related experience in activities and/or wellness with older adults. Must be able to read, write and follow written and oral direction.
• Current CPR certification, or to be completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the lives of residents and staff through Generations Vitality programs and activities.
• Meet all Generations Vitality program standards and communicate the philosophy to staff and residents.
• Incorporate Generations' Mission, Vision, and Values into daily work and interactions.

The Activities/Vitality Coordinator at The Wexford enhances the lives of our residents and staff through creating opportunities that enrich mind, body, and spirit. Responsible for meeting all Generations Vitality program standards. Communicates the Vitality philosophy and the benefits of participating to staff and residents both verbally and by example. Incorporates Generations' Mission, Vision, and Values into daily work and interactions with others.

Schedule:

• Full-time, working 35-40 hours a week
• Mondays through Fridays, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
• Occassional evenings and Saturday/Sunday shifts for events
• 8 hours a day

Requirements:
