Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Life Enrichment Manager to design and deliver memory-care focused Life Skills programs that give residents purpose and connection. You will work with memory-impaired seniors to create meaningful routines and enjoyable activities within a resident-centered framework.

The role requires at least one year of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience working with memory-impaired seniors.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt activities to cognitive ability.
• Experience leading group activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized Life Skills based on resident interests and abilities
• Engage residents daily in meaningful, familiar routines
• Organize small groups and enrichment clubs
• Review ISPs, Resident Profiles, and demographic information to tailor activities
• Document participation per quality standards
• Maintain Life Skills stations and program supplies
• Encourage team members and volunteers to support engagement
• Assist residents to and from programs and activities

Pay Range: 13.50 - 16.88

What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement individualized Life Skills based on resident interests and abilities


• Engage residents daily in meaningful, familiar routines

What We’re Looking For

In addition to base compensation, Sunrise may offer discretionary and/or non-discretionary bonuses. The eligibility to receive such a bonus will depend on the employee’s position, plan/program offered by Sunrise at the time, and required performance pursuant to the plan.
