Job summary

Milford Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center LLC is seeking an Activities Director to lead the Life Enrichment team. You will design a vibrant activity calendar, including memory care programming, fitness, arts, and off-site outings, enriching residents' physical, mental, and social well-being.

You will supervise staff, coordinate with nursing and dining, and manage budgets and communications to sustain engaging programs in a compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and leading life enrichment programs for seniors.
• Knowledge of memory care, dementia care strategies, and adaptive programming.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute a monthly calendar of activities tailored to varied abilities.
• Plan and coordinate community events, workshops, and outings.
• Build relationships with residents and families to personalize programs.
• Collaborate with nursing and care teams to align activities with care plans and safety.
• Lead, train, and supervise activity staff and volunteers.
• Manage the activities budget, supplies, newsletters, and attendance records.
