Job summary

Talentify is seeking an energetic Activity Director to plan and oversee a vibrant calendar of recreational, social, and therapeutic programs for our residents in New Jersey. You will bring joy, purpose, and community to residents daily by coordinating engaging activities with nursing and therapy teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in activities, recreation, or therapeutic recreation, preferably in healthcare or senior living.
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient, enthusiastic personality.
• Knowledge of state regulations related to activity programs in long-term care.
• ADC certification or willingness to obtain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee engaging activity programs for residents.
• Coordinate group and individual activities (arts, music, games, outings).
• Collaborate with nursing and therapy to promote resident wellness.
• Maintain participation records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Supervise activity staff and volunteers.
• Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere throughout the facility.
