Stone Rehab and Senior Living in Tallahassee, FL is seeking an Activities Director to lead resident engagement through diverse recreation, social, educational, and therapeutic programs. Based on experience, the role offers $50,000 to $65,000 annually and is full-time.

You will develop individualized activity plans, supervise staff and volunteers, and collaborate with nursing and care teams to ensure compliant, person-centered care for residents in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must hold MA Activities Director or OTA certification.
• Prior experience in Assisted Living or Long-Term care preferred.
• Moderate to advanced MS Office skills: Word, Publisher, Outlook, Excel.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Activities Director | Stone Rehab and Senior Living
$50,000 - $65,000/annually, based on experience

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee a diverse calendar of recreational, social, educational, and therapeutic activities that promote resident engagement, well-being, and quality of life.
• Develop individualized activity programs based on residents' interests, abilities, preferences, and care plans, ensuring meaningful opportunities for participation.
• Lead and supervise activities staff and volunteers, providing guidance, scheduling support, and training to ensure programs are delivered safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation, and other departments to support resident-centered care, encourage participation, and maintain compliance with facility policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

Qualifications for Success:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must hold a current MA Activities Director or Occupational Therapist Assistant certification
• Prior experience working in an Assisted Living or Long-Term care setting preferred
• Moderate to advanced computer skills – specifically with MS Office including Work, Publisher, Outlook email, and Excel.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written
