Job summary

Stone Rehab and Senior Living is seeking an Activities Director to plan, coordinate, and oversee a diverse calendar of recreational and therapeutic activities, aligning with residents' interests and care plans. The role emphasizes resident engagement, well-being, and quality of life in a supportive senior living environment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, MA Activities Director or Occupational Therapist Assistant certifications, and strong MS Office skills with fluency

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must hold MA Activities Director or Occupational Therapist Assistant certification.
• Experience in Assisted Living or Long-Term Care preferred.
• Moderate to advanced computer skills with MS Office (Word, Publisher, Outlook, Excel).
• English fluency required, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee a diverse calendar of recreational, social, educational, and therapeutic activities that promote resident engagement, well-being, and quality of life.
• Develop individualized activity programs based on residents' interests, abilities, preferences, and care plans, ensuring meaningful opportunities for participation.
• Lead and supervise activities staff and volunteers, providing guidance, scheduling support, and training to ensure programs are delivered safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation, and other departments to support resident-centered care, encourage participation, and maintain compliance with facility policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

• Ability to communicate fluently in English - both verbally and written
