Job summary

Complete Care at Severna Park is seeking a Full-Time Activities Director for the day shift. The role offers a starting pay of $25/hr and no on-call duties, with a focus on delivering engaging programs for residents in a compassionate, community-driven setting.

Responsibilities include developing a diverse activity program, assessing resident interests and abilities, supervising events, and coordinating with staff.

Qualifications

• Experience managing staff in a care setting.
• Proven ability to work independently or with a team.
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with care software.

Responsibilities:

• Develop an activity program that is both sufficiently diverse and sensitive to our resident’s needs.
• Determine individual resident interests and expectations regarding preferred programing.
• Conduct assessments to ascertain physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities of each resident.
• Supervise and participate in events alongside department.
• Other duties as assigned by Administrator.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience managing staff is preferred.
• Ability to work independently or part of a group.
• Computer knowledge.
• Previous long term care experience is preferred.
• Active ADC

License:

• Must have an active Activity Director Certification (ADC).
