Job summary

CIMA Senior Living in Pampa, TX, is hiring an Activities Director to plan and lead engaging activities, events and outings at Meredith Court. You will nurture resident participation, coordinate calendars, and collaborate with teams to deliver meaningful daily programs.

This full‑time role requires at least 2 years of assisted living experience, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 pounds, and willingness to drive the community van.

Qualifications

• 2 years of assisted living experience required.
• Activity programming or recreation experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required to drive community van.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist residents during activities and transportation.
• Ability to pass background checks and health screenings per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in engaging activities, events, trips, and celebrations within the assisted living setting, encouraging resident involvement and highlighting individual talents.
• Create and distribute monthly calendars and newsletters; gather resident feedback through surveys; collaborate with other departments to ensure meaningful daily programs.
• Facilitate activities and outings, including scheduling transportation and driving the community van or bus; assist residents during trips and events.
• Interact daily with residents, provide companionship and assistance during activities to foster connection and belonging.
• Support marketing efforts and build community relationships; assist with tours and apartment rentals.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and participate inengaging, hands-on activities, events, trips, and celebrations within theassisted livingsetting, encouraging resident involvement and highlighting individual talents.

• Personally facilitate activities and outings -including scheduling transportation, driving the community van or bus, and assisting residents directly during trips and events.
• Engage with one-on-one residents daily, providing companionship, encouragement, and assistance during activities to foster connection and a sense of belonging.
• Support marketing efforts, buildcommunity relationships, and occasionally assist with tours and apartment rentals

What You'll Need:

• 2 years of assisted living experience required
• Activity programming, recreation, or related experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license is required, to drive community van to and from resident outings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, and assisting residents during activities and transportation.
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings in accordance with state regulations.
• Activity Director Certified (ADC) credential preferred
