Job summary

Westmont Living’s Oaks at Nipomo is seeking a dynamic Lifestyle Director to design engaging programs for seniors across independent living, assisted living and memory care. You will plan events, lead activities, and coordinate team efforts to enhance residents’ quality of life while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires strong English communication, CPR/First Aid within 30 days of hire, a high school diploma, and prior senior living experience with group activities.

Qualifications

• Must communicate in English, oral and written.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years’ experience in senior living; 3 years in group activities or CA Activity Certification with related experience.
• Current Class B drivers license, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Dementia Advanced Care Certification preferred.
• Strong organizational skills including follow-up, detail-oriented, and multitasking.

What we need from you:

• Able to communicate written and orally in English.
• Within 30 days of hire be certified in CPR and First Aid
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years’ experience with Senior LivingHave 3 years’ experience in conducting group activities and events or completed CA Activity Certification course and at least 2 years of related experience.
• Current Class B drivers’ license, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Cares Dementia Advanced Care Certification, preferred
• Must have strong organizational skills including ability to follow-up, detail-oriented, ability to multitask.
