Job summary

Stone Rehab and Senior Living is seeking an Activities Director to oversee a diverse calendar of recreational, social, educational, and therapeutic activities, enhancing resident engagement and quality of life.

You will develop individualized programs based on residents' interests, supervise staff and volunteers, and coordinate with nursing, rehab, and other teams to ensure compliant, resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• MA Activities Director certification or OTA certification required.
• Experience in Assisted Living or Long-Term care preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Publisher, Outlook, Excel).
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee a diverse calendar of activities to promote resident engagement and well-being.
• Develop individualized activity programs based on residents' interests and care plans.
• Lead and supervise activities staff and volunteers; provide scheduling support and training.
• Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation, and other departments to support resident-centered care and regulatory compliance.

Activities Director | Stone Rehab and Senior Living $50,000 - $65,000/annually, based on experience Full -Time

Delivering Solutions that Matter:

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee a diverse calendar of recreational, social, educational, and therapeutic activities that promote resident engagement, well-being, and quality of life.
• Develop individualized activity programs based on residents' interests, abilities, preferences, and care plans, ensuring meaningful opportunities for participation.
• Lead and supervise activities staff and volunteers, providing guidance, scheduling support, and training to ensure programs are delivered safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation, and other department s to support resident-centered care, encourage participation, and maintain compliance with facility policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

Qualifications for Success:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must hold a current MA Activities Director or Occupational Therapist Assistant certification
• Prior experience working in an Assisted Living or Long-Term care setting preferred
• Moderate to advanced computer skills - specifically with MS Office including Work, Publisher, Outlook email, and Excel.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English - both verbally and written
