Job summary

Pine Acres Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in New Jersey seeks an experienced Activities Director to lead our resident-focused activity program. You will coordinate, develop and implement engaging activities to meet social, psycho-social and therapeutic needs of residents and mentor the department team.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated with at least 2 years of direct experience as an Activities Director, capable of coaching staff and collaborating with residents to achieve personalized

Responsibilities

• Coordinating, developing and implementing an effective activities program and other initiatives designed to meet the social, psycho-social and therapeutic needs of the resident.
• To Manage, guide and coach co-workers in the department to meet expected goals and maintain a healthy, productive and warm environment.
• To Work with residents to meet their individual goals through the activities and programs implemented.
