Alliance Health & Human Services in Northborough, MA is seeking an Activities Director to supervise the daily operations of the Activity Department in a long-term care setting. You will develop diverse activity programs, coordinate the volunteer program and religious services, and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately.

The role calls for strong leadership, programming creativity, and collaboration with residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; further degrees preferred.
• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s in human services, psychology, recreation or related field.
• Completion of an accredited activity director certification program preferred.
• One year of supervisor experience preferred; 1–2 years in rehabilitative or long-term/sub-acute care preferred.

Activities Director Needed!!

POSITION PURPOSE:

Responsible for the daily management of the Activity Department an ability to provide a variety of activity programing for our Resident population.

Including but not limited to program development, coordination of the volunteer program and religious services and completion of required documentation.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, recreation or related field and completion of an accredited activity director certification program preferred.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

One year of supervisor experience preferred. One to two years of rehabilitative, long-term or sub-acute care experience preferred.

Salary:

$23.00 to $27.00 per hour
