Job summary

Alliance Health at Coleman is seeking an Activities Director to oversee the daily activity department for residents in a long-term care setting. You will develop and coordinate engaging programs, oversee a volunteer program, and arrange religious services, ensuring all required documentation is completed.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, with preferred advanced degrees in related fields and a certified activity director program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, recreation or related field and completion of an accredited activity director certification program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily activity department operations for residents.
• Develop and coordinate a variety of activity programs.
• Coordinate the volunteer program and religious services.
• Complete required documentation for compliance and reporting.

Activities Director Needed!!

POSITION PURPOSE: Responsible for the daily management of the Activity Department an ability to provide a variety of activity programing for our Resident population. Including but not limited to program development, coordination of the volunteer program and religious services and completion of required documentation.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, recreation or related field and completion of an accredited activity director certification program preferred.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

One year of supervisor experience preferred. One to two years of rehabilitative, long-term or sub-acute care experience preferred.

Job Type:Full-time

Salary: $23.00 to $27.00 per hour
