Park Lane Post Acute in West Chester, PA is seeking a compassionate Activities Director to plan, organize, and direct the activities program, promoting resident satisfaction, socialization, and overall well-being.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in activities management, a high school diploma (relevant degree preferred), and strong organizational and communication skills; NCCAP Certification and CTRS or COTA certification are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years in activities management or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in recreation therapy or gerontology preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

As an Activities Director, you will play a vital role in planning, organizing, and directing the overall operation of our activities program. Activities Director is responsible for creating a dynamic and engaging environment that promotes resident satisfaction, socialization, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of our activities program
• Facilitate group activities and encourage resident participation
• Chart attendance and maintain accurate records
• Assist with one-on-one activities, transportation to and from activities, and special events
• Collaborate with all disciplines to provide patient-centered treatment and care
• Obtain and maintain NCCAP Certification (National Certification Council for Activity Professionals) and CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) or COTA certification

Ideal Candidate

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in activities management or a related field
• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in recreation therapy, gerontology, or a related field preferred
