Park Lane Post Acute in West Chester, PA is seeking an Activities Director to lead and shape the activities program, fostering resident engagement and wellbeing. You will plan, organize, and direct activities while collaborating with care teams to deliver patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate brings 2–3 years in activities management, a relevant diploma (recreation therapy or gerontology preferred), and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in activities management or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in recreation therapy or gerontology preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the activities program.
• Facilitate group activities and encourage resident participation.
• Chart attendance and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with one-on-one activities, transportation to and from activities, and special events.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to provide patient-centered treatment and care.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Activities Director to join our team at Park Lane Post Acute in West Chester, PA. As an Activities Director, you will play a vital role in planning, organizing, and directing the overall operation of our activities program. Activities Director is responsible for creating a dynamic and engaging environment that promotes resident satisfaction, socialization, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of our activities program
• Facilitate group activities and encourage resident participation
• Chart attendance and maintain accurate records
• Assist with one-on-one activities, transportation to and from activities, and special events
• Collaborate with all disciplines to provide patient-centered treatment and care
• Obtain and maintain NCCAP Certification (National Certification Council for Activity Professionals) and CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) or COTA certification

Ideal Candidate:
