Job summary

Victory Care Home, operated by Agincare, seeks an Activities Coordinator for maternity cover. You will design and run engaging activities, support residents’ independence, and arrange events with entertainers and local partners. A warm, bubbly personality is valued, with ability to work in a team and with residents.

Role requires 30 hours per week until March 2027, with a right to work in the UK for at least 12 months. Training and pension benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• A warm, creative, people-focused personality.
• Confident, outgoing and able to work on your own and with a team and residents.
• Understanding of dementia care is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Bring energy, creativity and fun into daily life for our residents.
• Plan engaging activities, games, quizzes, crafts & one-to-one moments.
• Organise events like BBQs and Christmas parties.
• Arrange visits from entertainers & local businesses.
• Support movement and independence through fun physical activities.
• Lead social outings and in-home activities for all abilities.

How you’ll make a difference

• Bring energy, creativity and fun into daily life for our residents

All you need is:

• A minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK
• Maternity cover with the availability to commit to 30 hours per week until March 2027
• Rota:
• A warm, creative, people-focused personality
• To be confident outgoing, bubbly and able to work on your own and with the team and residents, organise activities and think of new ideas
• You do not necessarily have to of had experience in this role, however this is a Dementia care home, so you will also need to have an understanding of Dementia care
