Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort & Spa in Gatlinburg, TN is seeking an Activities Coordinator to design and run engaging programs for adults and children during guests’ stays. You will organize events, trips, and special activities, ensuring memorable experiences while maintaining logs and handling guest transactions.

The role requires energy, reliability, and a willingness to work weekends/holidays. Safety, teamwork, and guest satisfaction are core values at our resort.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with others.
• High energy, enthusiastic, and dedicated to the role.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Valid driver's license to operate company golf carts.
• Must pass background check, drug test, and be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse activities for adults and children.
• Organize activity programs, events, and guest trips.
• Participate in special events to enhance guest experience.
• Propose ongoing activity ideas to enrich stays.
• Maintain daily guest participation logs and track attendance.
• Handle monetary transactions and follow accounting procedures.
• Assist Activities Dept. with clerical duties and equipment checkout.
• Uphold safety regulations for guest welfare.
• Keep Activities Center and surrounding areas clean and organized.
• Assist in inventory management as needed.

As Activities Coordinator, You Will

• Conduct a diverse range of activities for both adults and children
• Organize activity programs, special events, and guest trips
• Actively participate in all special events to elevate guest experiences
• Propose and develop ongoing activity ideas to enrich guest stays
• Maintain a detailed daily log and track guest participation
• Manage monetary transactions and uphold accounting procedures
• Perform other tasks related to Activities Dept., including clerical/administrative duties
• Utilize computer skills for equipment check-outs to resort guests
• Enforce safety regulations and guidelines for guest welfare
• Keep the Activities Center and surrounding areas clean and organized
• Assist in inventory management as needed
