Job summary

Congress Hall Hotel in Cape May, NJ is seeking a guest experience host for the holiday season across Cape May properties. This part-time, seasonal role runs Thanksgiving through New Years with pay of $16.00–$17.00 per hour.

You will manage reservations, assist during events, guide groups, handle payments, and help ensure guest satisfaction while upholding Cape Resorts' standards. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of hospitality experience, weekend availability, and strong communication skills with

• Available weekends and holidays.

Position Overview

This position works directly with the Guest Experience Team for all properties in Cape May, NJ. This position is responsible for supporting and implementing initiatives as defined by the Guest Experience Team and assisting on programming events for the holiday season.

Key Responsibilities

• Supports the planning, execution, and organization of programming across the properties.
• Assists on day-of event and participates where most needed.
• Acts on behalf of the Guest Experience Team as a Host and guides groups of all ages in activities and crafts.
• Manages reservations, collects payments, and ensures appropriate accounting for necessary events.
• Resolves any issues, complaints, and/or problems to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be available on weekends and holidays
• All employees must maintain a neat and clean appearance per Cape Resorts standards
• 1 - 2 years of experience in hospitality preferred
• Basic knowledge of Cape May and the Cape Resorts properties a plus
• Proficient or basic understanding of software
