This position plays an important role in creating engaging experiences that enhance the physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and spiritual well-being of our residents.If you enjoy working with older adults, creating meaningful experiences, and being part of a supportive team environment, we invite you to apply!Schedule & Perks: Part-Time Position (24 hours a week) 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents Work in a beautiful senior living communityWhat You'll Do:As an Activities Assistant, you will help create engaging programs and experiences that support residents' physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual well-being.Responsibilities include:Assist with planning and leading daily activities, programs, and special eventsEncourage resident participation and engagement in community activitiesBuild relationships with residents through group programs and one-on-one visitsAssist residents with attending activities and provide support as neededDocument resident participation and maintain accurate activity recordsComplete required documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)Assist with planning new programs based on resident interests and preferencesHelp maintain activity spaces to ensure they are welcoming, organized, and ready for useSupport resident mail distribution and other community engagement activitiesMonitor resident needs, preferences, and participation while communicating concerns to leadershipWork collaboratively with nursing, dining, and other departments to support resident experiencesMaintain awareness of resident dietary restrictions and individual needsAttend training sessions and maintain compliance with organizational standardsPerform other duties as assignedWhy Choose Ginger Cove?
