Job summary

The Waters of Sweetwater in Sweetwater, TN is seeking a compassionate Activity Aide to join our Life Enrichment team. This part-time role supports residents through meaningful programs that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive well-being while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

You will plan and lead daily activities, tailor plans to each resident, escort to activities, document participation, and help create a warm, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in long-term care or recreation is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to engage residents with varying abilities while maintaining confidentiality.
• Dependable, patient and professional in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and leading daily activity programs for individuals and groups.
• Support personalized activity plans based on resident interests, abilities, and care needs.
• Escort and assist residents to and from activities safely.
• Document participation and observations according to facility policy.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of resident information in accordance with HIPAA and facility standards.
• Set up, clean up, and maintain activity areas and supplies.

About the Role

We’re seeking a compassionate and energetic Activity Aide to support our Life Enrichment team. This role helps create and deliver meaningful programs that promote the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive well‑being of our residents. Professionalism and confidentiality are essential, as you will work closely with residents, families, and interdisciplinary staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and leading daily activity programs for individuals and groups.
