Aventura at Shiloh Springs is hiring an Activity Aide to support residents with recreation-based activities, promote engagement, and contribute to monthly program design. The role emphasizes teamwork and reliability in a long-term care setting.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or GED, previous activity assistant experience, and a collaborative, flexible approach. Weekend availability is required to cover resident needs.

Qualifications

• Must be high school graduate or GED.
• Previous experience as an Activities Assistant is preferred.
• Past long-term care experience is helpful.
• Must be reliable and dependable.
• Must be flexible and able to multitask.
• Must work every other weekend.

• Play a vital role in our residents' well-being by planning and promoting recreation-based activities that stimulate the mind and body and promote social interaction.
• Provide input into the design of monthly recreation services.
• Document resident attendance and participation level at recreation programs.
• Write progress notes.
• Attend care plan meetings as appropriate.

Qualifications for Activities Assistants:

• High school graduate or GED
• Previous experience as an Activities Assistant.
• Pleasant and outgoing individual.
• Must be flexible and able to multitask

• Must work every other weekend
