Aventura at Shiloh Springs is looking for an Activity Aide to support daily recreation and social activities for residents. You will help plan, promote and document programs that stimulate mind and body, and enhance social interaction within the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience as an Activities Assistant.
• Pleasant and outgoing individual.
• Must be flexible and able to multitask.
• Past long‑term care experience helpful.
• Must work every other weekend.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in activities with the residents.
• Play a vital role in our residents' well‑being by planning and promoting recreation‑based activities that stimulate the mind and body and promote social interaction.
• Provide input into the design of monthly recreation services.
• Document resident attendance and participation level at recreation programs.
• Write progress notes.
• Attend care plan meetings as appropriate.
