You will assist in activities, promote recreation, document attendance and participate in care plan meetings. The ideal candidate is a high school graduate, friendly, reliable, and able to work as part of a team, with flexibility to multitask; prior long-term care experience is helpful.

• Previous experience as an Activities Assistant

• Must work every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Assist in activities with the residents.
• Play a vital role in our residents' well-being by planning and promoting recreation-based activities that stimulate the mind and body and promote social interaction.
• Provide input into the design of monthly recreation services.
• Document resident attendance and participation level at recreation programs.
• Write progress notes.
• Attend care plan meetings as appropriate.
