Job summary

Green Lea Senior Living in Mabel, MN is seeking an Activities Assistant to bring joy and connection to residents. This full-time role (8:30 am – 4:30 pm) offers competitive pay at $19.10/hour, paid training, and benefits. No prior experience required—training provided.

You’ll lead games, crafts, music, and social events, tailor activities to each resident’s interests, assist with holidays and celebrations, and help maintain a warm, engaging community for residents, families, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Availability for occasional evenings and weekends.
• No experience required; paid training provided.
• A positive attitude and a passion for working with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Lead activities like games, crafts, music, exercise, and social events.
• Encourage residents to participate and offer one-on-one support when needed.
• Adapt activities to each resident’s interests and abilities.
• Help plan and run holiday celebrations, birthdays, and special events.
• Set up and clean up activity spaces before and after programs.
• Track activity attendance and share resident updates with the Activities Director.
• Help create a warm, positive community for residents, families, and visitors.
