Job Summary:
- Assist Activities Director to develop and implement an engaging activities program for members/guests on a daily/weekly basis.
- Provide excellent customer service to members/guests.
- Lead assigned activities in a manner that engages members/guests and provides recreational enjoyment to all participants.
- This position requires creativity and flexibility.
- Coordinate all scheduled activities with Activities Director for members/guests to be completed throughout the week. Weekend and holiday shifts may require additional time.
- Part-time position with 24 to 25 hours a week.
- Weekend and holiday shifts required.
Essential Functions:
- Assist Activities Director in creating and maintaining monthly and daily event calendars online and at the resort.
- Create an enjoyable and fun activities environment for members/guests of all ages.
- Shop for supplies as directed to ensure all activities and group events are successful.
- Maintain excellent organization skills and generate new ideas and methods.
- Perform other duties as required.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (strong computer skills).
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally with management and guests.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Outgoing, creative, energetic, and positive attitude.
- Background check, MVR, and proof of insurance (if shopping for supplies).
Required Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of activities experience.
- Strong customer service experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
Work Environment:
- Wet/dry conditions.
- Hot/cold temperatures.
- Vehicles (Golf Cart).
- Noise levels may be high during certain events (bands, DJs, etc.).
