Job summary

Evergreen Healthcare Group's Polson Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an Activities Assistant to bring compassion and engagement to residents. You will plan and implement group activities, foster social interaction, and provide meaningful one-on-one visits under the Activities Director.

This role emphasizes teamwork with nursing staff, schedule coordination, and helping residents feel connected through sensory experiences and reality orientation, while maintaining a clean activity

Responsibilities

• Implement group programming that promotes interaction between residents.
• Notifies residents and staff of activity schedules.
• Visits with residents on a one-to-one basis as directed by the Activities Director in order to provide: A friendly visitor., Sensory stimulation., Reality orientation., A means of meeting individual needs as outlined in each resident’s Activity Plan.
• Selects residents and communicates with nursing personnel for purpose of assistance in transporting residents to and from general activity areas.
• Responsible for general housekeeping duties in Activity areas
