Job summary

Eduro Healthcare's Eastern Montana Veteran's Home in Glendive, MT is hiring an Activities Assistant to support residents with a diverse program of recreational, physical, intellectual, spiritual, and social activities. • Must be free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check.
• Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment.
• Highschool Diploma or equivalent.

Eastern Montana Veteran's Home is hiring for an Activities Assistant!

The Activities Assistant assists the Director of Activities with planning, organizing, developing, and directing quality activities for patients, ensuring that the recreational, physical, intellectual, spiritual, and social needs of each patient is met in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Assists in providing (based on the comprehensive assessment and care plan and the preferences of each patient) an ongoing program to support patients in their choice of activities, both facility-sponsored group and individual activities and independent activities, designed to meet the interests of and support the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each patient, encouraging both independence and interaction in the community.

Activities Assistant Responsibilities:
