Job summary

Evergreen Healthcare Group in Cheyenne, WY is seeking an Activities Assistant to enhance the quality of life for our residents. The position requires a kind approach, good listening skills, and the ability to build rapport easily with the elderly.

You will be responsible for implementing group programs, notifying residents of activities, and providing one-to-one visits to ensure individual needs are met. We offer a Private Health Care Plan and various training and development opportunities for your growth.

Job Summary

Granite Rehabilitation and Wellness is looking for someone who has a kind approach with the elderly, is a good listener, can build rapport easily, and has good communication skills. Essential Functions

• Implement group programming that promotes interaction between residents.
• Notifies residents and staff of activity schedules.
• Visits with residents on a one-to-one basis as directed by the Activities Director in order to provide:
  • A friendly visitor.
  • Sensory stimulation.
  • Reality orientation.
  • A means of meeting individual needs as outlined in each resident’s Activity Plan.
• Selects residents and communicates with nursing personnel for purpose of assistance in transporting residents to and from general activity areas.
• Responsible for general housekeeping duties in Activity areas.
