Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing activities and programs for residents.
• Coordinate events and outings.
• Develop and lead activities such as arts and crafts, exercise classes, and social gatherings.
• Create and manage activity calendars and schedules.
• Collaborate with staff and volunteers to meet residents' needs and interests.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and staff.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of activities, attendance, and resident participation.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to new ideas and initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., recreation therapy, gerontology) preferred
• Previous experience in activities coordination, recreation, or a related field, or equivalent education and training
• Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
