Job summary

Rosewood Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Lake Worth Beach, FL, is hiring an Activities Assistant to plan and facilitate engaging activities for residents. You will lead group and individual activities, promoting socialization and participation based on interests and abilities, while providing one-on-one support as needed.

Qualifications

• MEPAP certification preferred.
• Qualified Activities Assistant or relevant certification preferred.
• Experience in long-term care, healthcare, recreation, or resident activities preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and facilitating recreational and social activities for residents
• Lead group and individual activities that promote engagement and socialization
• Encourage residents to participate in activities based on their interests and abilities
