Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking an Activities Assistant to coordinate engaging programs for residents in a senior living setting. You will work with families, volunteers, and community groups to bring meaningful activities to residents and support the daily activities calendar.

The role emphasizes creativity, energy, and strong communication to keep programs running smoothly and to help residents stay active and connected with their communities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Activities Certification preferred.
• Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, senior living, recreation, or activity programming setting is a plus.
• One year of experience in long-term care preferred.
• Experience planning or leading social, recreational, or group activities preferred.
• A positive attitude, outgoing personality, and enthusiasm for working with seniors.

Responsibilities
