Job summary

Essex Meadows in Essex, CT invites you to join a dedicated team as a hospitality-focused Activities Assistant. You will help implement programs to meet residents' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, guided by the Community Life Services Director.

You will plan events, coordinate culturally diverse activities, and support Alzheimer’s and dementia residents, with flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• One year experience in a social or recreational program preferred.
• Experience in geriatrics, recreation or social administration preferred.
• Must have the ability to solve practical problems and to deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations and to use appropriate judgment to protect the safety and dignity of the resident.
