Job Responsibilities
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with team members, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public.
- Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, enthusiasm, and a willingness to handle challenging situations.
- Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating programs.
- Work closely with team members to support resident programs.
- Chaperone resident outings and suggest appropriate participation.
- Assess emergency situations effectively.
- Conduct various programs including socials, movies, entertainment, games (card games, board games), spiritual activities, lectures, discussions, sensory groups, etc.
- Support programs with audio-visual technical needs.
- Perform administrative tasks such as creating posters, signs, copying, stuffing mailboxes, or placing flyers on resident doors.
- Distribute monthly calendars to AL, MC, and IL residents.
- Interview residents to gather information about their interests and preferences.
- Take responsibility for group activities daily.
- Complete all assignments and documentation promptly.
- Maintain attention to detail for accurate and professional development and programming materials.
