Job summary

CareCore at Meadows is seeking an energetic, dependable, and compassionate Part-Time Activity Assistant to join our Activities team. This role focuses on planning and leading activities that promote socialization, engagement, and overall quality of life for our residents.

You should be dependable, friendly, patient, and enthusiastic, with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work independently as part of a collaborative staff.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable, friendly, patient, and enthusiastic.
• Enjoy working with seniors and individuals with varying levels of ability.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible part-time schedule including some weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and leading group and individual resident activities
• Encourage resident participation in activities and events
• Help with games, crafts, music, social events, holiday celebrations, and other programs
• Assist with setting up and cleaning up activity areas
• Spend one-on-one time with residents who may not participate in group activities
• Help maintain activity supplies and materials
• Work collaboratively with nursing and other departments to support resident needs
• Provide a positive, welcoming, and engaging experience for residents

CareCore at Meadows is looking for an energetic, dependable, and compassionate Part-Time Activity Assistant to join our team! This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with seniors, bringing people together, and helping create a fun and engaging environment for our residents.

As an Activity Assistant, you will work alongside our Activities team to plan and lead programs that promote socialization, engagement, and overall quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and leading group and individual resident activities

• Encourage resident participation in activities and events

• Help with games, crafts, music, social events, holiday celebrations, and other programs
