Job summary

CareCore at Mary Scott is seeking an energetic Part-Time Activity Assistant to join our team and brighten daily life for residents. You will lead and participate in recreational activities, events, and one-on-one interactions, bringing joy and connection to seniors.

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is appreciated as we support residents’ meaningful daily routines through group and individual activities.

Qualifications

• Friendly, dependable, and outgoing personality.
• Compassion and patience when working with seniors.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Long-term care or activities experience is a plus, but not required.
• Flexibility to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily recreational and social activities.
• Encourage resident participation and engagement.
• Help plan games, crafts, events, celebrations, and group activities.
• Spend one-on-one time with residents as needed.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning up activities.
• Work closely with the Activities Director and other departments.
