Job summary

Country Meadows in Bethlehem, PA is seeking an Activities Assistant for part-time, on-site hours from 9:00am to 4:00pm with alternating weekends and holidays off. Pay starts at $17.50-$18.50/hour with potential for additional earnings based on experience.

In this role, you will create meaningful experiences for residents, encourage participation, and support wellness and arts activities, collaborating with the Activities Coordinator to plan engaging events across campus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Prior experience in group socialization or recreational programs preferred but not required.
• Energetic, personable and creative leadership style.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Motivational skills to engage residents.
• Valid driver’s license with no major violations in 3 years.
• Able to perform physical tasks required by the role.

• Drive residents’ interest in a dynamic lifestyle to promote pride and purpose.
• Ventures out with residents to theaters, museums, sporting events, restaurants, special destinations and more.

As the Activities Assistant Part-Time, you will create experiences with all members of our community and encourage residents to participate. We are seeking individuals who value the company of older adults, lead with a big picture mentality and appreciate the arts and wellness.

• Part-time 9:00am to 4:00pm, with every other weekend and every other holiday OFF
  • Week one: Work Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (12:30pm-7:00pm), Saturday
  • Week two: Work Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
