Job description

Resident Activity Assistant organizes and participates in person-specific activity programming, including one-to-one interventions, small group facilitation, and large group presentations. The assistant also assists the resident activity director as needed.

The appropriate candidate must be open to weekend and evening hours.

Qualifications

• CNA - STNA license is preferred - will train appropriate applicant
• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in the activities department in a healthcare setting or equivalent

Responsibilities include communicating daily activities to residents, helping residents to activities, completing daily documentation, and assisting with miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Activity Director.

Experience with residents in a healthcare setting in an activity nature is a plus.
