Job summary

Riverview Health & Rehab Center - North in Detroit, MI is seeking an Activities Aide to support life enrichment programs for residents, coordinating daily activities and helping build engaging, meaningful experiences.

You will document attendance, protect residents' comfort and dignity, and work closely with the Activities Director, volunteers and staff to foster a warm, respectful and compassionate care environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of related experience preferred in senior living.
• Ability to lead activities and motivate volunteers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining balanced resident-centered activities and life enrichment programs under supervision of the Activities Director.
• Completes attendance and participation records in a timely basis.
• Maintains the comfort, privacy and dignity of residents with warmth and respect.
