Sprenger Health Care Systems is seeking a Recreation Activities Aide at Amherst Manor in Amherst, OH to manage group programs, transport residents, and help plan engaging activities for residents across care settings.

You will promote programs to residents, families, and staff while supporting a thriving, patient-centered culture with growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Competenze

• High School diploma and 2+ years of experience in a patient activities program in health care.
• OR college degree in Recreation, Gerontology, Nursing Home Administration, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or Occupational Therapy Assistant with a valid driver’s license.

• Facilitate group programs as assigned in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist in transporting residents to and from activities.
• Assist with planning and leadership of recreation programs.
• Promote facility programs to residents, staff, family and volunteers.

Qualifications

High School diploma and 2 plus years of experience in a patient activities program in a health care setting; OR has college degree in or actively working toward a degree in Recreation, Gerontology, Nursing Home Administration, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or Occupational Therapy Assistant with a valid driver’s license.
