Job summary

Sprenger Health Care in Lorain, OH seeks an Activities Coordinator to lead resident recreation programs and coordinate group activities within our health care community.

The role involves transporting residents to activities, planning engaging programs, and promoting participation among residents, staff, families and volunteers. A high school diploma or relevant degree and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or college degree in related field and driver's license.
• Experience in patient activities programs in health care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group programs as assigned in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist in transporting residents to and from activities.

Qualifications:

High School diploma and 2 plus years of experience in a patient activities program in a health care setting; OR has college degree in or actively working toward a degree in Recreation, Gerontology, Nursing Home Administration, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or Occupational Therapy Assistant with a valid driver’s license.
