Job summary

Sprenger Health Care is seeking a dedicated team member to support resident recreation activities at Main Street Care Center in Avon Lake, OH.

Responsibilities include facilitating group programs, transporting residents, planning and leading recreation activities, and promoting facility programs to residents, staff, families and volunteers. Some positions require a high school diploma or college coursework and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 2+ years of experience in a patient activities program in a health care setting.
• OR college degree in Recreation, Gerontology, Nursing Home Administration, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or Occupational Therapy Assistant with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group programs as assigned in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist in transporting residents to and from activities.
• Assist with planning and leadership of recreation programs.
• Promote facility programs to residents, staff, family and volunteers.

Qualifications

High School diplomaand 2 plus years of experience in a patient activities program in a health care setting; OR has college degree in or actively working toward a degree in Recreation, Gerontology, Nursing Home Administration, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or Occupational Therapy Assistant with a valid driver’s license.
