Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as RN/LPN in the state practiced.

• Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred; at least 2 years nursing supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates plans for total resident care per physician orders and policies.
• Interprets policies to nursing staff and monitors practice.
• Participates in admissions decisions and may visit prospective residents.
• Attends management meetings to discuss resident status and staffing.
• Ensures compassionate quality care with adequate staff coverage and cleanliness.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
